With several statewide offices being vacated and the conservative House Freedom Caucus looking to continue to add to their ranks, SC Confidential will provide ongoing updates on candidate filings through the noon deadline on March 30, 2026.

In South Carolina, Republican primaries decide the state’s direction. For far too long, establishment Republicans have set this state back. As a result, our coverage will focus on Republican candidates filing for statewide offices, Congress, and contested State House races.
