New Developements
New developments. This screenshot I received raised concerns, and while I don’t pretend to know how everything works at the state level, I’m continuing to ask questions and share the correspondence along the way.

Mark,
I am writing with concern regarding conflicting information on the upcoming September 6th State Executive Committee vote concerning Pickens County.
At multiple points, both you and Debbie have suggested you do not know what resolutions will be brought before the committee for a vote. Yet, in an email sent last night (see attached), Chad Connelly stated: “committee already voted on how to handle this and we should expect committee report next week.”
This raises several pressing questions:
1. If no resolutions have been formally introduced, then what exactly has the committee “already voted” on?
2. Was a vote conducted outside of the knowledge of the full executive committee? If so, when?
3. If the official vote is not until September 6th, how is it that the outcome appears to have been predetermined?
This situation undermines confidence in the process and appears to contradict the statements made by other members of leadership. For the sake of transparency and accountability, I ask for immediate clarification on:
• Whether a vote on Pickens has already occurred, in committee and/or the full body,
• What was the resolution voted on,
• And whether the September 6th meeting is still intended as the official, binding vote on this matter.
With the credibility of the State EC process at stake, it is essential that these contradictions be addressed directly and without delay.
Sincerely,
Sarah Grace
