The SCGOP is not above the law

1) I attended the Darlington County Republican Party (DCRP) ReOrganization meeting on March 22, 2025;

2) I properly filled out Form 1, indicating my intent to run as a delegate to the 2025 SCGOP State Convention by marking the Delegate to State Convention box;

3) Form 1 reads: “I’d like to run to be a delegate from my county to the 2025 State Republican Party Convention. AND attest that I have voted 2 of the last 3 statewide GOP primaries. Place my name on the ballot at the County Convention as (PRINT):” I printed my name and I signed the Form;

4) On April 15, 2025, at the DCRP County Convention, the Officers, JD Chaplin, Dawn Calhoun, John Crawley, and Colin Hungerpillar failed to provide a ballot with the names of eligible delegates to be voted on;

5) Instead, the Officers presented an illegal slate of pre-selected delegates, which excluded my name, despite my proper submission of Form 1;

6) The Officers of the DCRP bypassed the election process mandated by South Carolina Code of Laws Sections 7-9-80 and 7-9-100, which require delegates to be elected, not appointed;

7) The actions of the Officers of the DCRP directly prohibits my ability to participate in the State Convention on May 3rd, and prevents me from being nominated for State Chair of the SCGOP;

8)For the reasons stated above, I have been irreparably harmed by the Officers of the DCRP and by the SCGOP.

Efforts to Address the Issue:
- I have filed an appeal with the SCGOP;
- I have informed my Congressman Russell Fry;
- I have informed the Attorney General’s office;
- I have filed a report with SLED;
- I have filed a report with the Darlington County Sheriff’s office;
- I have notified a ton of media outlets.

I will also contact the Elections Commission.

I plan to attend the State Convention on May 3rd and appeal the SCGOP’s fraudulent decision.
